History of Goa
Old Goa was founded in 1440 when it was conquered by the Bahmani Sultanate from Muslim rulers. It was annexed to India in 1961 and then in 1987 Goa was given the status of a state of India. Although tourism is the main livelihood here, Goa’s per capita GDP income is one of the human development indicators among all the states in India for fishing, agriculture etc.Although the smallest state of India, Goa has a population of 1.4 million. The regional language here is Konkani, English, Hindi and Marathi are also widely spoken here. The Indian state of Goa is famous for its beautiful beaches and places of worship. To enjoy Goa’s attractions at the lowest cost, you should go in March, as this is the off-season. Also, if you want to enjoy sathe thanda batas with heavy rainfall, you should go from June to August.The rainy season lasts from June to September. There is a mild winter from December to February, when the temperature is around 20 degrees c to 29 degrees c. The average annual maximum temperature of Goa is 33 degree c and the minimum temperature is 19 degree c to 26 degree c.

How to Reach Goa
This beach is easily accessible from any part of the world by rail, road and air.
By Train: Traveling to Goa by train is very convenient as there are two railways in the state of Goa. Madgao and Vasco Vasco Dagama are well connected to other parts of the country by two railway lines.
By Air: Dublin Airport is located 26 km from the capital city of Panaji. It is an international airport. There are two terminals, one domestic and one international. There are regular flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Lucknow, Kolkata, Indore, Chennai and Pune. In addition to international destinations like Muscat, Doha, Copenhagen, Qatar Airways and Oman Airways etc.
By Road: KSRTC, MSRTC are some of the operators that provide bus services from Mumbai, Pune and nearby cities to Bangalore. Also, if you want to go from Bangalore, Mumbai to Goa, you can take the NH4 route. You can get off the train or plane and take a taxi to any part of the city.
